Staff

Experienced, dedicated and caring teachers who share a commitment to excellence in education, staff St. Pius School. These individuals, many with advanced degrees and years of experience, have actively chosen to work in Catholic education. They share a common vision of teaching within an environment of trust, respect and love.

The spirit of community and love of God at St. Pius School is exemplified by the highly motivated staff. The faculty consists of a principal, vice principal, twelve full time teachers and two part time teachers with an average teaching experience of 12 years.

These positions include a technology coordinator, science teacher, math teacher, along with an art instructor and a resource specialist. All of the teachers are practicing Catholics. They all hold bachelors degrees. Thirteen hold teaching credentials (one more is in progress), six have masters degrees, and two have reading specialist certificates.   The PE curriculum and music curriculum are taught by an independent contractor, Rhythm and Moves. Additional support staff includes a school counselor, two secretaries, four aides, and three day care personnel. The library is currently staffed by parent volunteers.
